Es-Castell - Pilates in Majorca - 2012 EARLY BIRD PILATES RETREAT DATES selling fast.

Friday 12th October until Monday 15th October 2012. Early bird prices available until April 30th 2012.

In 2011, Es Castell built a new Pilates Matwork studio. I can now take 10 or 12 Pilates students to my Pilates retreat in Majorca. I have 2 single rooms and 4 shared rooms available. That's it!

Pilates holidays have become very popular and my Pilates retreats are limited so spaces go very quickly. My 2012 pilates retreats have already been selling and I'm afraid I only have 3 spaces left in March and 6 places left in October.

Sarah has been running Pilates retreat/ holidays since 2002.  She has been featured in Sunday Times Style Magazine, The Observer double page spread in the Travel section, Homes and Gardens Magazine and many more Radio and press quotes over the years.

Es Castell in Majorca is located at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains in North East Mallorca, near the village of Caimari, agriculture and tourism co-exist here, the main buildings of the hotel and farm being surrounded by acres of olive, orange, lemon, fig and almond trees. A perfect setting for a relaxing Pilates retreat.

Voted one of the 10 most prettiest hotels in Majorca, this enchanting environment is perfect for my peaceful Pilates retreat. The silence is only broken by the hum of cicadas during the day and the far-away tinkling of sheep bells at night.

I have been holding my Pilates retreat holidays at Es Castell twice a year, for the past 5 years. Every time we visit, we are treated like Kings and Queens by our hospitable host and hostess James and Paola.

We start the day with a light breakfast followd by a one and a half to two hour Pilates class. After Pilates, you can have a rest or a massage until lunchtime. A light lunch and more relaxation in the afternoon. Around 5pm we have another Pilates class. All classes end with relaxation or meditation. Following class, we meet for dinner around 8pm. We repeat this all again the following day. Although I include one half hour massage in the trip, many people do extend it to a full hour and even book more massages if time allows.

Arrival times at Es Castell are flexible according to flights. I normally hire a car at the airport and whoever arrives around that time can come with me and split car hire costs. Or you can hire your own car, or take a taxi from outside the front of the airport. On arrival at the hotel, James or Paola will greet us and show us to the rooms and around the hotel. You will see the room we use for Pilates classes. You can spend the rest of the day freshening up, relaxing and then in the evening we meet for pre-dinner drinks followed by a leisurely dinner. I have client forms which I go through with each person individually so that we can start fresh an early with the Pilates class in the morning.

Departure times at Es Castell are also flexible. We will be told if any of the rooms are needed early. Most flights are in the afternoon so many people leave early afternoon or before.

If you have an early arrival or late departure, Es Castell will organise a lunch for you at a small cost. Some people do arrive a day early or stay a day late and there is always a special rate to do this.

Do feel free to read the pilates testimonials on my site. I have had so many lovely comments from my Pilates retreats that I thought they were worth sharing with you. Many of my pilates students return again and again to my pilates holiday so I feel very flattered and honoured that I am doing something right. Regardless as to whether you are a new to me Pilates student or old familiar Pilates student, you will receive the same 5 star treatment I offer and the hotels I use offer. I look forward to welcoming you and working you very hard in the not to near future!

If you want to contact me for any more details, please do. And if you would like to be added to my Pilates Newsletter to find out ahead of anyone else about my Pilates holiday, just ask.

Testimonials

I just want to say 'thanks' again for such a good break. It all worked really well - obviously the pilates was the main attraction for me and your teaching was excellent and has given me much to think about; however, the whole package, i.e hotel, company, structure etc, made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. I'm missing it today.

Everything about my Pilates Retreat in Majorca was perfect and exceeded expectation. Sarah is a stickler for Pilates technique, which has really helped to focus me in my large class back home. In Es-Castell, Sarah has chosen a beautiful hotel with a stunning location and great food. This, along with Sarah's fun Pilates style and relaxed self, left me feeling totally chilled out.

You have a fun plus informative teaching style and the ability to make everyone feel at home as soon as they set foot on this wonderful property. Don't change a thing! Good to know you. I can't wait to try out some of Sarah's other retreats.
